We are the open research group „archival community“. We understand the archive as a scope for action and open, undetermined process, where an intertwining of subjective, intersubjectice and collective practice and remembrance as well as forms of learning through those experiences, can take place. We aim to discover commonalities and togetherness within our individual practices by bringing followig questions to the table: What are the ingredients of our practices? How are they informed? How do we approach building an archive as a way of generating and transtering knowledges; as a guide to build alliances and listen to the rhythm of connective organizing? How can an archive of artistic production function as an open source for collaborative feminist mode of working together? The table; as a place of meeting and acquisition, sometimes a structure for basic needs, sometimes a space for discussion, meeting and gathering is the point where we start from.
During the residency in hinterconti we will explore the possibilities of a collective work of building structures, as well as its challenges that arise due to the oftentimes precerious working conditions of artistic production.
