Salomé Lopes’ solo show broken gateway to the impossible invites you to come together at HINTERCONTI during a cosmic event. A comet is passing the earth and showing its face. So let us gather around the fire that fell from the sky- let us share sacred food, wisdom and stories. Let our bodies and minds be vessels to the secrets of the absolute, that lay within the little things.
Salomé Lopes (1998, Almada, Portugal) is a visual artist based in Lisbon. Her work develops mainly through installation, combining mediums such as sculpture, video and sound. She develops research-based projects, often emerging from an interest in the underlying mystery behind all things, and the ways in which we attempt to explain it. www.salomelopes.com
